Challenge of the Americas Takes on Role of First West Coast ROKKER Program

As the landscape for the North American karting community continues to change, ROK Cup Promotions is pleased to announce that the very popular Challenge of the Americas (COTA) series will make the switch to the Vortex ROK engine platform, Bridgestone tire line and take on the role of the first ROKKER program on the West Coast. Known for great racing in a family and team friendly environment, the Challenge of the Americas will continue to offer some of the best racing in the country in the first quarter of the year and beyond as they work to expand their program even further. Some of the prize packages planned include tickets to the ROK International Finals in South Garda, Italy, as well as the ROK Cup USA Finals.

The very competitive COTA program will continue to focus on its great customers and building a bright future, as 2018 will be their 11th consecutive season. Continue reading

Business as usual for Challenge of the Americas in Sonoma.

For Immediate Release, March 31st, 2017

As you might have seen news has been released this morning regarding the dissolution of the relationship between MaxSpeed Group and BRP/Rotax. While this news is big and will impact the Challenge of the Americas in the future, it will not impact the upcoming race at Simraceway next weekend.

THIS NEWS HAS ZERO IMPACT ON OUR EVENT NEXT WEEKEND. Continue reading

UNITED STATES ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE BULLETIN

Re: Cylinder, Ignition, Tester

The 2016 United States Rotax MAX Challenge has issued a bulletin that has been posted on the GoRotax.com Rules & Regulations page.

The bulletin is noted as:

BULLETIN 2016-3b

IMPLEMENTATION: December 15, 2016

This bulletin has been issued to introduce new parts from Rotax, which will be allowed for the Florida Winter Tour and the Challenge of the Americas. As both series use the 2016 technical rules, this bulletin was necessary to modify the 2016 regulations.

Also updated are the 2016 USRMC technical regulations which includes the elements of the bulletin 2016-3b.

It is the team’s/competitor’s responsibility to know and understand the rules. Please take a moment to read this bulletin as well as familiarize yourself with the complete rulebook prior to your next event. If you have any questions in regards to the rules and/or this bulletin, please contact the MAXSpeed Group offices.
