International winter series on west coast releases three event schedule for 11th season

ORANGE, CA (August 4, 2017) – The 2018 season for Challenge of the Americas is taking the program into a new era, with the three event schedule now confirmed. For the 11th season of the international winter series in western North America, the Challenge is switching to the Vortex ROK engine platform and Bridgestone tire line. The same family and team friendly environment is expected for the new Challenge format, featuring some of the best racing in the country for the first quarter of the season along with the one of the most organized, structured race staff on the continent or around the world.

“This off-season for the Challenge has been an interesting and exciting one,” stated Challenge of the Americas promoter Andy Seesemann. “Our move to the Vortex ROK engine package and Bridgestone tires aligns us with two of the most respected brands in our sport and motorsports in general. ROK trade in program ends July 31st

Get in on the savings for 2018 COTA season.
 
The Full Throttle Karting trade in program ends July 31. All engines that are eligible for trade in must be operational, including any Rotax engine regardless of year, cylinder, or age level toward the ROK Micro, Mini and GP motors. There is also the option to trade in a Rotax DD2, TM 125, Maxter 125 or Honda CR125 for those looking to compete with the incredible Rok Shifter powerplant. All engine packages eligible for the trade in program need to be complete and include the engine itself, wire harness, all electronics, exhaust system and/or silencer, and radiators if they are supplied from the manufacturer when new. Engine components must not have any visible major damage.
 
Prices after the trade in are listed below and must be used towards the purchase of a brand new Vortex ROK engine package.

ORANGE, CA (August 3, 2016) – In the summer of 2007, the Challenge of the Americas was launched with the winter of 2008 hosting its first ever events to serve as the premier winter program for the west coast. A decade later, plans are underway to host the 10th season of the Challenge. Series promoter Andy Seesemann and his COTA staff have solidified themselves as one of the most organized, structured racing series in North America with a goal of making the 10th season another memorable three-month championship program. REGISTRATION OPEN FOR 2016 CHALLENGE OF THE AMERICAS

challenge2016logoCCOver 40 days until new season begins in Arizona for Rotax and Shifter program

ORANGE, CA (December 15, 2015) – A new era is set to begin for the Challenge of the Americas, entering its ninth season. The premier winter karting series on the left coast is set to get 2016 underway in just over a month when the program heads to the Musselman Honda Circuit on January 29-31 in Tucson, Arizona. Planning and organization for the season is in full swing, with series owner and promoter Andy Seesemann hard at work putting all the details together for another exciting winter season for teams and competitors along the western half of North America. Continuing with the international Rotax Max Challenge competition, the new year brings in Shifter Senior and Shifter Masters categories to help coincide the program with the growing US Open format.

The Challenge of the Americas program continues to be an international series for Rotax Max Challenge competitors, as it has since the beginning. Micro Max, Mini Max, Junior Max, Senior Max and Masters Max fill out the class roster utilizing the new Rotax EVO engines. 2016 marks the removal of the DD2 and DD2 Masters divisions. Replacing those two categories will be a Shifter Senior and Shifter Masters race group following the success of the new US Open format combining the two groups together on the national scene.
